So,
I sat down last night, which is hard for me to do..
because I can always find something
more important to do
and I watched Sherlock Holmes.
(Between me and you, I am so thrilled that
Robert Downey Jr. found his way back to the big screen..
I have enjoyed his movies immensely.
The first one I do recall seeing him in was “Weird Science”.
Goes to show you anyone can have a come
back if they really want it.)
So,
I grabbed a cup of coffee sat in my recliner
and watched the clock as if I were late for something important
then took a deep breath and said “press play”.
AND so it began..
Not long into the movie I realized that I had to take a potty
break, but I was so glued on the story line.. I held it
until the end.. (THAT was the fastest I had ever ran
upstairs, I must say)
I couldn’t move because I was intrigued by Sherlock’s attention to detail..
the style that was all his own…
the way he made large conclusions from the smallest observations.
I was hooked!
Yes, Sherlock owes a large amount of gratitude
to his side kick Watson.
Without him acting as his right hand, look-out and all around
guardian at times… he would have definitely not been as “lucky”
surviving those “most important” antics.
Right away, I made the comparison to Sherlock and Home Businesses.
The simplest of things and the MOST important parts to pay
attention to detail about..are the one’s MOST over look.
Sherlock was quoted saying..
“When you remove the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth”.
WOW!
Home business language..
“When you remove the PROMISES and HYPE, whatever remains, however questionable, must be the truth.”
Tell me what you see when you think of Sherlock?
You picture a man in a deerstalker cap, a pipe,
and a magnifying glass held to his eye.
Am I right?
