A friend of mine was upset the other day because she didn’t know where to start
on her “About Me.”
In all of your social media sites and even your blogs and websites you need
to have a great About Me section that does not sell you product – opportunity
rather it sells you!
Here’s the formula I shared with her:
You have to minimize your failure in the past.
Cool to talk about how you felt…or what you were facing….
But not about failure!!
You never hear me talk about failure..right???
Work it – re-work and then re-work it!
It will take a few days…
Use this formula.
My name is..________________
Before ___________
First thing I noticed was______________
Since then _____________________
And the best part is_______________________
Then expand from there.
No saga of woe…
Story of TRIUMPH..
Short Sweet Simple – but powerful!
Don’t talk a lot about your “opportunity”…
You don’t want to sell it… YOU want to sell YOU!

STOP WASTING YOUR TIME PLEASING!
STOP BEING FAKE – BECOME AUTHENTIC.
Disciplining yourself to be authentic is painful…
WHY?
Because discipline is pain..
Pretending to be something you’re not will only keep you
where you have always been.
Think outside the box – find yourself and project that self
to the world.
I want you to think about this for a minute – It’s DEEP…
(something I picked up on our M-3 “private members- only”
call last night, lasted 3 HRS -I could get a slap on the wrist for revealing this…;)
(cruel, brutally honest, MEAN??)
Madonna – What about her??
(Sex symbol, immoral, TRASHY?)
All of those traits that the majority of the population
think – are EXACTLY what MADE them RULE…. Why??
Because they were GENUINE!
They WERE themelves…
They WERE not living in the – NORM…
They WERE not living in the ” I care what people think” apartment 6.
They WERE not living in the “pleasing ALL the people” village of duplication.
They DID nothing special – They DID themselves -
I say DO YOU!!
To attract those into your organization you need to weed
out those who are not attracted to you anyway.
What better way to do that than to be YOU -
You will attract MORE people being YOU.
What if people like you FIRST – before THEY EVER JOIN YOU?
WOW- What a novel idea!
Those that are NOT attracted to you will never add to your business or your life..
Those that ARE attracted to you become your eternal devoted
FANS!
You rebel you!
We are all attracted to things that are not of the NORM.
So, WHY ARE YOU ACTING LIKE EVERY OTHER -
STUFFED SHIRT – ROBOT ROLLIN’ – PUPPET PLAYIN’ – ANNOYING
MARKETER OUT THERE?????
HAVING a fake presence with fake smiles, fake jestures,
and fake compliments…
WILL NEVER bring you GENUINE prospects.

BE YOU!
