Little story…

It’ll take 5 seconds.. 2 minutes..

OK.. here goes…

I was introduced to someone of pretty BIG importance..
(Is that even a phrase?)

He could take me places.. show me all the network marketing tricks

he and MANY others used… PLUS give me a HUGE downline..

I was intrigued.. come on you would be right??

So, I said what do I need to do?

He wasn’t upfront but needless to say I was treated like a

QUEEN, flew me across the country and introduced

me to some big players,

BUT – then came the hitch..

He wanted me to give HIM my list.

You know what a list is right??

A list is your contacts.. all of the people who have

given you their name, phone and email EVER..

What do you think I did?

You know me all too well!!

(He’s a great guy, don’t get me wrong)

BUT, he’s used to playin’ by rules, I don’t follow..

So, I said “NO way in hell.”

You gotta know I hold you as tight as I can

and would NEVER let anyone hurt you.

EVERYTHING I send you – I know I can trust!

You’re only job is to figure out if YOU trust me.

I was looking online tonight and saw a “really cool blog”

by someone who probably spent more money on it than

on their entire wardrobe!

AND I had to ask myself…

WHO are you??

Ok, I see you have some videos, you have only been posting
to your blog for about 3 months now BUT you are telling me..

You have been marketing and running like wild fire all OVER the internet??

You have 5 listings in Google under your name BUT you have been around forever??

YOU have massive exposure, but no one ever heard of you until yesterday?

OK.

SOOOO

I am suppose to believe YOU know what you’re doing because you have a

“fancy blog” with a bunch of banners and google ads all over it??

BUT NO REAL CONTENT??

Are you kidding me?

When searching someone that has pitched you
or that has “appeared” to be THE ONE who can make it all happen..

I have always said that and I actually heard it on a
private training call I was in a few nights ago.

I received a phone call yesterday and it was from a man named “Bob”
(the name has been changed to protect the innocent)

He told me how much he admired my unique qualities and my
“down to earth” style. He had been watching me for a few months now
and just had to call me and see what all I was into.

The conversation lasted 10 minutes..
and he immediately started talking
about the money he didn’t have, the time he didn’t have
and the list of stuff he was already in and HOW he

NEEDED… NEEDED

to learn how to build a website, if it took him a year!

I was silent for a few seconds then I said..

“Bob, to move fast you move slow..
to move SLOW you move fast.”

He said “what does that mean?”

I said..

“You have all these irons in the fire and ALL this stuff,
that’s NOT making you a penny cause you don’t REALLY
know what the hell you’re doing…

ON top of that..you NEED to learn
how to build a website, cause all the GREATS have websites????…

AND… you wanna know why you aren’t making a killing
promoting your links on facebook and twitter..

YOU are moving FAST and it’s taking you longer
to learn the deal and make money cause your toooo busy
MOVVVING…..

Besides..I know a bunch of marketers that NEVER EVER had a website
and they made MILLIONS!

You gotta slow down, smell the roses, breathe***
take time to get to know people, love people
and find out what it is THEY need…”

He was then silent.

Said, “well I have to get back to this website thing..
I’ll let ya know if I ever need anything..”

He didn’t realize I just gave him the BEST advice
anyone could ever receive.

Next month Bob will be pitchin’ a new deal..
or in the clinker cause his NEW deal was a scam.. poor Bob, he has no clue…

I gave him the best 10 minutes of his life!

I love network marketing.. I love this industry!!

Some times I feel like everyone is out to get each other..

Then I realize it’s just their survival instincts kickin’ in..

THEN, I see perfect strangers tell me they love me
because I gave them ONE piece of advice that
flipped’ ‘em on their ears!

THEN I realize they just want more free stuff (which I am always proud to give it)

Then I see ho hum, no names pretend to be BIG dogs when they’re
really just snappy lil ankle biters!

I smile AGAIN – I love this industry!!!

What makes it SOOOO wonderful is that YOU can have and be ANYTHING..
BUT – fake…

Anyone who is ANYONE
can pretend to be someone.. and get away with it for a short while..

THEN they are sniffed out by normal folks who can sense their inauthenticity
a mile away! Ah, it’s refreshing to know THAT human beings are
as smart as they look!

I’ve learned many things being here..

1. DON’T BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS YOU
2. GIVE MORE THAN YOU COULD EVER HOPE TO RECEIVE
3. DON’T LOVE MONEY WHEN MONEY CAN’T PAY YOU
4. HOLD A GRUDGE ONLY AS LONG AS YOU CAN HOLD YOUR BREATH
5. LOVE OTHERS BEFORE THEY LOVE YOU
6. JEALOUSY IS ONLY TEMPORARY INSANITY
7. YA CAN’T BE PERFECT BUT YOU CAN BE HONEST
